We provide a breakfast and afterschool club and take children in full time education aged between 4-11 years to and from five local Watford schools. We offer an active and nurturing environment by combining various activities including sports, IT learning, arts & crafts and more. We believe in stimulating children’s learning through play and our experienced staff are always there to support and encourage the children in our care.

Active Herts Classes
Every Monday, 10:00 to 11:00 & 11:00 to 12:00
Take your first step to a more active lifestyle. We know that getting active can be difficult so our local Get Active Specialists will give free, professional and friendly guidance to help you get started. Our team is highly qualified and experienced health and fitness professionals with a focus on helping people improve their health and wellbeing through physical activity.

Would you like to be part of the Active Herts programme, if so, please make sure you answer yes to the following questions:
• Do you currently do less than 30mins of physical activity that raises your breathing each week
• Are you over the age of 16?

Wing Chun International Martial arts
Every Monday, 17:30 to 18:30 (For 4-12 year old) and 18:30 to 19:30 (For 13+ age)
WCI Watford teaches a practical and efficient self defence system in an easy accessible way for children and adults to apply straight away. We offer our new students a way of starting in slow paced classes taking you through the basics of the Wing Chun System and allow you to find out more about the art while you get to know the instructors and other students.

Positive Movement
Every Tuesday, 10:30 to 12:00
Positive movement is a new wellbeing programme for older people, anyone with mobility problems and carers. The friendly sessions combine gentle exercise and movement with time to socialise over tea. Both fun and hugely beneficial, this programme can really make a difference to your life! £3 per session.

Meet and Greet Social Club develops and delivers a range of services that promote the wellbeing and independence of the over 50s.

Karate (Mixed ages)

Developed in Hertfordshire over 29 years ago, Active Hertfordshire Karate’s commitment is to the pursuit of quality Shotokan Karate. The sessions develop a range of personal qualities and life skills for all ages and abilities and leads students, kids, teens or adults to be positive and the best they can be. First session free.

Learn to play the O7 drum's, step on stage and be part of something unique. Two to three hours’ sessions one day per week so you can learn technique, rhythms, choreography's, all the O7 repertoire, and become part of the O7 show. You don't need to be a musician or have any previews experience.

Getting Together social clubs (formally Five Ways Friends)

We create friendly social environments for people over 55 in Watford and Three Rivers to come together for regular social gatherings, meet new friends, have a meal and most importantly have the chance to make new friends and have fun. We have weekly clubs in various locations, across Watford and Three Rivers.

Holywell Youth Club (11 – 18 year olds)
Every Thursday, 18:30 to 20:30 (term time only)
Our popular evening youth club provides you with a chance to chill out with friends, play pool, table tennis, take part in crafts, sports and cooking. 50p per session.

The Creation Station (1 – 5 year olds)
Every Friday, 10:35 to 11:25
Shared creative education fun, with no mess or stress for mum!! The Creation Station isn’t simply about learning how to paint, model or collage along the lines of “Here’s one we did earlier”. It’s all about having a go, being inspired by something quite simple and encouraging each person to develop their own ideas. It’s amazing seeing that happen and it also gives you a huge boost of confidence when your ideas are taken seriously - no matter how old you are!
